Michael F. Trouw
Senior Paraplanner
As a Paraplanner, my role is integral to the financial planning process at Elevation Wealth Partners. I am responsible for tracking and coordinating the various aspects of the planning process, ensuring that all necessary steps are completed in a timely manner. This includes maintaining client accounts, organizing documents, and facilitating effective communication between clients and our team. In addition to these administrative tasks, I provide technical support to both our clients and the firm.
Prior to joining Elevation Wealth Partners, I worked as a graduate student instructor at Colorado State University, teaching economics. This experience enhanced my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner. In terms of education, I hold a Masters in Economics from Colorado State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. I am currently pursuing my PhD in economics at Colorado State University, further deepening my understanding of economic principles and their application to financial planning.
When it comes to my job, what I enjoy the most is the process of helping build client financial plans. It is fascinating to witness seemingly disparate data come together to create the basis for the advisors’ recommendations.
I live and work in Fort Collins, CO and I am often found riding my mountain bike in the foothills or working on my project car.
